In a tragic incident, five people lost their lives, and five others were injured after a water tank collapsed in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra, on October 24, 2024. The tank, located in the Bhosari area, suddenly gave way due to what initial investigations suggest was high water pressure. Among the deceased were laborers working near the site.

Rescue operations were carried out swiftly by the local authorities, with injured victims being rushed to nearby hospitals.
