Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s Game Changer has been making waves at the box office despite mixed reviews following its release on January 10. The political thriller, directed by Shankar, has performed well in India, crossing the Rs.100 crore mark just five days into its release.

According to the latest report from Sacnilk.com, Game Changer earned Rs,10 crore on its fifth day, bringing its total net collection in India to Rs.105.44 crore. The film opened strongly with Rs.51 crore on its release day, but its performance saw a sharp decline over the weekend. The second day saw Rs.21.6 crore, followed by Rs.15.9 crore on Sunday. By Monday, collections dropped further to Rs.7.65 crore.

The film, with an overall occupancy of 34.13% in its Telugu screenings, is facing stiff competition from other major releases, particularly Daaku Maharaaj starring Balakrishna, which hit theatres on January 12. Despite the competition, Game Changer continues to hold its ground.

The film’s storyline, penned by Karthik Subbaraj, has faced mixed reviews, with some critics noting it borrows heavily from Shankar’s past works, referencing films like Muqabla and Mudhalvan. Still, the movie has been praised for its entertainment value, with audiences enjoying the political thriller genre.

Apart from Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, the film also features notable performances by Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Sunil, Brahmanandam, and Vennela Kishore.

With the film’s ongoing box office success, it will be interesting to see how Game Changer performs in the coming weeks amidst fierce competition.
