The Google Pixel Watch 4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chipset and comes with a new design that finally makes repairability possible. Earlier Pixel Watches often had to be replaced if damaged, but with this generation, Google has introduced a hardware system that allows servicing and longer usability. This shift positions the Pixel Watch 4 as not just a premium smartwatch but also one designed with sustainability in mind.

The highlight is the new Actua 360 display, featuring slimmer bezels and a brighter screen with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, up from last year’s 2,000. The curved glass blends seamlessly into the circular frame, and the interface has been redesigned with Google’s Material 3 Expressive style, optimized for the smaller display. Running on Wear OS 6.0, the watch also integrates Gemini AI features, offering smarter replies, AI-driven suggestions, and faster access to daily tasks directly on the wrist.

Google claims the smartwatch can reach 50% charge in just 15 minutes, while overall battery life has improved by 25% compared to the previous model. Added to this are a compass, altimeter, barometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, and far-field sensors, making the watch a comprehensive health and activity tracker.

Connectivity has been enhanced as well, with support for Bluetooth 6.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, ultra-wideband, and dual-frequency GPS. Memory has been doubled to 2GB SDRAM, while storage remains at 32GB, ensuring smooth performance with space for apps and offline media.
