New Delhi: The dream of government schools in Delhi competing with private ones has turned into reality, thanks to the efforts of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, according to Chief Minister Atishi. Highlighting the government’s priority toward improving education, she stated that reforms under the AAP administration have brought substantial changes to the public education system.
While inaugurating a modern four-storey academic block at Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Mukundpur Village, Atishi emphasized that the infrastructure was “even more impressive than private schools.”
“Earlier, classrooms had 80 students each, hampering the quality of learning. With this new academic building, we expect significant improvement in the standards of education,” she added.
The new academic block marks a major step in the government’s initiative to modernize school facilities and provide a better learning environment. The move aligns with AAP’s vision to revamp government schools, focusing on improved infrastructure, better teacher resources, and reduced class sizes.
Atishi’s remarks reinforce the government’s commitment to ensuring quality education for all, emphasizing that reforms are making government schools a preferred choice for many parents.
