Horrific Crime in Hyderabad: Ex-Armyman Boils Wife’s Body Parts in Pressure Cooker, Dismisses Missing Person Case

Disturbing details emerge in the Hyderabad murder case where an ex-Armyman allegedly killed his wife, boiled her body parts, and disposed of them in a lake. Investigation ongoing.

Breaking News

A chilling and grotesque crime has rocked Hyderabad after a retired Army jawan was arrested for allegedly killing his wife, boiling her body parts in a pressure cooker, and discarding them in a lake. The victim, 35-year-old Madhavi, was reported missing by her mother on January 18, with authorities now piecing together the gruesome details of her death.

The Gruesome Discovery

On January 18, Madhavi’s mother, Subamma, lodged a missing person report after her daughter disappeared following a heated argument with her husband, Gurumurthy. Madhavi had walked out of their home on January 16 in Venkateswara Colony under the jurisdiction of Meerpet Police Station, located in the Rangareddy district of Hyderabad.

Confession and Investigation

During the investigation, Gurumurthy, who currently works as a security guard in Kanchanbagh, was taken into police custody. In a chilling confession, he claimed to have murdered his wife in a fit of rage after their argument escalated. However, authorities were still awaiting confirmation regarding the cause of death, as they had not yet recovered her body.

According to police reports, after killing Madhavi, Gurumurthy allegedly chopped her body in the bathroom and then boiled the parts in a pressure cooker. To destroy the evidence, he crushed the bones using a pestle and re-boiled them. He continued cooking the remains for three days before packing the flesh and bones in a bag and dumping them in a nearby lake.

Search for Evidence

The police and their clue teams have launched an extensive search for the body parts in the lake where Gurumurthy claims to have disposed of them. However, as of Wednesday, authorities have yet to find any traces of the body. A dog squad was also deployed to aid in the search.

LB Nagar DCP stated that despite Gurumurthy’s confession, the case remains under investigation. The police are yet to confirm whether the crime was indeed a murder, pending further evidence.

Family Background

Madhavi and Gurumurthy had been married for 13 years and had two children, who were reportedly visiting Gurumurthy’s sister at the time of the incident. The family had been living together in Venkateswara Colony for the past five years. Following his wife’s disappearance, Gurumurthy reportedly staged a missing person drama and even informed Madhavi’s parents about the supposed disappearance.

Ongoing Investigation

Police are continuing to treat the case as a missing person investigation until concrete evidence emerges to confirm it as a murder. Authorities are working diligently to gather all the facts and determine the truth of the allegations.

As the investigation unfolds, the details of this horrific crime have left the local community in shock, particularly with the disturbing nature of the crime that involved boiling human remains in an attempt to erase any evidence.

This incident has drawn attention to the need for vigilance and support systems for women in domestic situations, as tragic cases of this nature continue to emerge.
