The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is set to announce the results for the Probationary Officers (PO) Mains examination, held in November 2024, by January 2025. Candidates can access their scores on the official website, ibps.in, by using their registration or roll number and password or date of birth.
Steps to Check IBPS PO Mains Results
- Visit ibps.in.
- Navigate to the CRP PO/MT section and select CRP Process Probationary Officers/Management Trainees XIV.
- Click on the link for Mains result/scorecard download.
- Enter your login credentials.
- Submit and view your result.
- Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
Exam Structure
The IBPS PO Mains examination comprised two parts:
- Objective Test (200 marks):
- Reasoning and Computer Aptitude: 45 questions, 60 marks (60 minutes)
- General/Economy/Banking Awareness: 40 questions, 40 marks (35 minutes)
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: 35 questions, 40 marks (40 minutes)
- Descriptive Test (25 marks):
- English Letter Writing: One out of three questions (10 marks)
- Essay Writing: One out of three questions (15 marks)
- Total time allotted: 25 minutes
Next Steps: Interview Round
Candidates shortlisted from the Mains will proceed to the Interview round, tentatively scheduled for January or February 2025.

- Total marks: 100; minimum qualifying marks: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
The final selection will be based on a weightage ratio of 80:20 for the Main exam and interview. To qualify for provisional allotment, candidates must meet the merit cutoff in both stages.
Provisional Allotment
The provisional allotment results are expected in April 2025. Candidates failing to meet minimum requirements will not have their interview scores disclosed.
