Mumbai: In a significant milestone, IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. reported a robust 19% growth in toll revenue, reaching Rs 502 crore in September 2024. The jump reflects a year-on-year increase from Rs 421 crore in the same period last year, as per the company’s latest exchange filing.

With a strong focus on infrastructure development, IRB Infra’s toll collection is driven by its network of 17 toll plazas across the country. The Maharashtra-based IRB MP Expressway led the charge, contributing an impressive Rs 136.8 crore. The Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway followed, adding Rs 58.4 crore to the overall toll collection.

This growth comes amid heightened focus on infrastructure development in India, as well as increased traffic across key expressways. IRB’s consistent performance demonstrates the rising demand for faster, efficient road transport, and the importance of well-maintained infrastructure in driving economic growth.

With infrastructure investments on the rise, IRB Infra is well-positioned to continue capitalizing on growing traffic volumes and the government’s push towards modernizing transportation networks. This 19% revenue hike signals both a strong future for IRB and a promising outlook for India’s infrastructure sector.
