Rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, is facing another serious allegation. A former model, Jenifer An, has filed a lawsuit claiming that West sexually assaulted her during the filming of La Roux’s “In For the Kill” music video in 2010.
According to the lawsuit, An was working as a background actor when West allegedly singled her out and began a disturbing assault. The incident, which reportedly took place at the Chelsea Hotel in Manhattan, involved West allegedly choking An with both hands and forcibly simulating oral sex, all while claiming it was “art.”
The lawsuit paints a disturbing picture of a violent and degrading attack. An claims she struggled to breathe and felt as though she had temporarily blacked out. The alleged assault left her traumatized and emotionally scarred.
The lawsuit also names Universal Music Group as a defendant, in addition to West. An alleges that the company was aware of West’s behavior and failed to take any action to prevent the assault.
This is the latest in a series of legal troubles for West.
In recent months, former employees and business partners have sued him for a variety of claims, including sexual harassment, antisemitic remarks, and breach of contract.
It remains to be seen how he will respond to these allegations.
However, given the serious nature of the charges, it is likely that this case will have significant legal and cultural implications.
