Three individuals have been charged in connection with Payne's death.

Breaking News

Argentinian authorities are continuing their investigation into the tragic death of Liam Payne, and have announced plans to interview his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy. Cassidy was with the former One Direction member before his untimely death but left Argentina just two days before he fell from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. Authorities have requested a witness statement from Cassidy to assist in understanding the events surrounding Payne’s death, though they have assured that she is not considered a suspect.

A friend of Cassidy stated that she is fully cooperating with the investigation, emphasizing her desire to help bring the responsible parties to justice. The investigation is focused on the circumstances leading up to Payne’s fatal fall on October 16, which followed an earlier incident where he was reportedly dragged unconscious through the hotel lobby. The autopsy revealed that a lethal combination of crack cocaine and “pink cocaine”—a mixture of ketamine and other illicit drugs—was found in Payne’s system, which likely contributed to the accident.

Three individuals have been charged in connection with Payne’s death. Rogelio “Roger” Nores, Payne’s close friend during his stay in Buenos Aires, faces serious charges, as does Braian Nahuel Paiz, a former hotel waiter accused of allegedly selling cocaine to the singer. A third individual, identified as a drug supplier, is accused of providing drugs to Payne just days before his death.

As the investigation progresses, Argentinian authorities hope that Cassidy’s testimony will help strengthen their case against the accused and provide more clarity on the events leading up to the singer’s tragic demise.
