Maaman’s day-wise earnings reveal a strong initial reception with decent retention even on weekdays. After opening at ₹1.75 crore on Day 1, the film picked up with ₹2.5 crore on Day 2 and reached its peak on Day 3 with ₹3.85 crore. Despite a dip on Day 4 (₹2.05 crore) and Day 5 (₹1.75 crore), the total India net collection now stands at ₹11.90 crore.

While the film’s success sparked celebration across Tamil Nadu, Soori addressed a viral video showing fans eating mann soru (rice placed directly on the floor) in celebration. He firmly discouraged such extreme acts, urging fans to celebrate meaningfully. “Even if my children did this, I wouldn’t approve. Let’s celebrate joy, but with dignity,” he said, emphasizing the importance of respectful support.

Maaman’s Steady Growth Shows Audience’s Love for Emotion-Packed Narratives

Maaman’s strength lies in its sincerity. Unlike typical mass entertainers, it chooses depth over spectacle, which has evidently touched a wide demographic—from children to elderly family members. Aishwarya Lekshmi also described the film as “a crazy but quite normal family,” highlighting the drama, confusion, and emotional complexities that make it relatable.

As Maaman continues its theatrical run, it stands out not only for its earnings but for its strong emotional impact. With more days ahead and the potential for crossing bigger milestones, the film proves that stories rooted in family and emotions still hold immense power at the box office.

Conclusion:

Maaman is more than just a commercial win—it’s a reminder that Tamil cinema thrives when heartfelt stories meet genuine performances.
