Mumbai: Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films has announced an exciting expansion of its horror-comedy universe with a series of new and returning titles. Among the most anticipated projects are Stree 3, Munjya 2, Shakti Shalini, Chamunda, and Pehla Mahayudh, which will join the production banner’s growing lineup.
The announcement follows the start of filming for Thama, the latest chapter in Maddock Films’ horror-comedy franchise. Ayushmann Khurrana will star as a vampire in this highly awaited film, which also features Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles. Thama is slated to be the first release from Maddock Films’ upcoming slate, hitting theaters during Diwali 2025.
The production schedule reveals that each year will see two film releases from the banner, with Shakti Shalini scheduled for release on December 31, 2025. Following that, Bhediya 2 and Chamunda are slated for theatrical releases in 2026. Bhediya 2 will hit theaters on August 14, 2026, while Chamunda will be released on December 4, 2026.
