Maharashtra Congress Chief Alleges Corruption in Mahayuti Government

Nana Patole Claims 65% of Ministers in Maharashtra's Ruling Coalition Are Tainted

Breaking News

MUMBAI: Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole has intensified his criticism of the state’s ruling Mahayuti coalition, alleging that 65% of its ministers are embroiled in corruption scandals. He asserts that internal power struggles and governance failures have led to administrative chaos.

Patole’s allegations come amid reports of discontent within the Mahayuti alliance, following the exclusion of 11 ministers in a recent cabinet reshuffle. Senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Chhagan Bhujbal suggested that his removal was a consequence of his advocacy for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community.

In response to the corruption allegations, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has dismissed them as politically motivated attempts to undermine the government’s achievements.

The Mahayuti government has faced criticism over its perceived sluggishness since coming to power. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has emphasized the government’s commitment to “dynamic governance” and development across Maharashtra.

As the political climate in Maharashtra remains tense, the public awaits further developments in this unfolding situation.
