However, the actor’s mother, Sania Sharma, has firmly dismissed these speculations. In a recent interview with Times Now, Sania expressed her shock at the rumors, saying, “People say anything. Now that my daughter is a celebrity, people will link her name with anyone, so should we believe them?” She emphasized that such gossip is typical when someone gains public attention, calling the reports “completely false.”
These rumors gained traction after a report from ETimes suggested that Mahira and Siraj were romantically involved, despite keeping their relationship private. Speculation began when Siraj liked one of Mahira’s Instagram posts, and the two began following each other on the platform, fueling rumors of a budding romance.
Prior to this, Mahira was in a relationship with Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant Paras Chhabra. The couple, who had shared a love story on the show, broke up in 2023. Paras later revealed in a podcast with Bhavya Singh that while their relationship was initially great, they eventually realized they were incompatible for the long-term.
