MSME Seva Parv -2025: ‘Virasat se Vikas’ Celebrated in Varanasi with Over 1,500 Beneficiaries

varanasi: The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is commemorating MSME Seva Parv-2025 under the theme ‘Virasat se Vikas’ from September 28 to 30, 2025, in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The event was presided over by Union Minister Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi and inaugurated by Union Minister of State Sushri Shobha Karandlaje at the Rudraksh International Cooperation & Convention Centre.

Key Highlights and Participation

  • The three-day event attracted over 1,500 beneficiaries from various MSME schemes such as PM Vishwakarma, Khadi and Gramodyog Yojana, PMEGP, and National SC/ST Hub Scheme.

  • Shri Manjhi inaugurated a large exhibition featuring 130 stalls showcasing and selling handcrafted local products by artisans and craftspeople, celebrating India’s rich heritage and cultural pride.



Ministerial Addresses and Initiative Emphasis

Union Minister Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi underscored the MSME sector’s vital role as a major driver of employment and economic empowerment in India. He congratulated the beneficiaries and highlighted flagship initiatives like Udyam Registration, PMEGP, CGTMSE, and NSSH that facilitate training, toolkits, and credit support through banks to MSME entrepreneurs.

Union Minister of State Sushri Shobha Karandlaje emphasized PM Narendra Modi’s vision of achieving self-reliance (Swadeshi) and Viksit Bharat through robust MSME growth. She stressed the importance of technology, skill development, and credit facilitation for MSMEs in contributing significantly to GDP, exports, and job creation.

Important MoU and Distributions

A key feature of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) and the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) to enhance marketing support for Khadi products. Additionally, the event saw the distribution of loan certificates to PMV beneficiaries, margin money subsidies to PMEGP beneficiaries, and provision of toolkits to Gramodyog Yojana participants.

Community Engagement and Swachhata Drive

The day also featured a Swachhata Karyakram at Namo Ghat to promote community service and cleanliness, reinforcing the ethos of Seva and civic responsibility among participants.
