The New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 at Bharat Mandapam offers a vibrant and engaging environment for book lovers of all ages.

The fair is a major literary event, attracting book enthusiasts, writers, and publishing professionals from around the world. It is a large event with over 2,000 stalls and an anticipated 1.8 million visitors from more than 40 countries. The fair includes a wide range of activities, such as author meet-and-greets, cultural events, seminars, and industry discussions. 

  • The fair takes place in the newly constructed Halls 2-6 (Ground Floor) at the Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
  • The venue is accessible through Gate 10, with additional entry points at Gates 4 and 6. Gates 4 and 8 are equipped with wheelchair facilities.
  • To enhance visitor comfort, 20 eco-friendly benches have been placed throughout the fair.

The New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 has two themes: “Republic@75” and “We, the People of India”, both celebrating 75 years of the Indian Constitution. Another theme is “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: Books for One World”, reflecting the unifying power of literature.

The “Kidz Kingdom,” a vibrant and bustling children’s zone, was a hit at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam. Young book lovers and their families flocked to this dedicated area, eager to immerse themselves in a world of stories and creativity.

The children’s pavilion offered a wide array of engaging activities designed to foster a love for reading among young minds. Storytelling sessions captivated audiences as talented narrators brought tales to life with colorful characters and exciting adventures. Calligraphy classes introduced children to the art of beautiful writing, while caricature and painting workshops allowed them to unleash their inner artists.

The theme of the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025, “We, the People of India,” celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution, was also woven into the children’s zone.

The fair featured more than 1,000 writers, authors, and speakers, with over 600 literary programs and 200 cultural events.

The New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 took place from February 1 to February 9. Tickets were available for purchase online at www.nbtindia.gov.in and offline. Entry was free for students in school uniforms and senior citizens.
