New Delhi— The Ministry of Women and Child Development has extended the final date for submitting nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2025 to 15 August 2025. Applications—both self‑nominations and third‑party recommendations—must be filed exclusively through the National Awards Portal (https://awards.gov.in).

About the Award

Instituted to honour the nation’s most outstanding young achievers, the PMRBP recognizes children (aged 5 to 18 years as on 31 July 2025) in six categories:

  4. Sports

  5. Arts & Culture

  6. Science & Technology

Winners receive a medal, certificate, and cash prize, and are traditionally felicitated by the President of India in the week preceding Republic Day.
