Owaisi Slams AAP Over Alleged Neglect of Muslim-Dominated Areas in Delhi

The Hyderabad MP also accused both AAP and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of being ideologically aligned

Breaking News

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday, accusing the Delhi government of neglecting Muslim-majority areas in the city. Owaisi claimed that the ruling AAP had failed to deliver on promises of development, alleging that garbage was regularly dumped in these areas and that essential services like schools and clinics were lacking.

“In constituencies where Muslims live, garbage from across Delhi is dumped, and no clinics or schools have been built,” Owaisi remarked, calling the AAP’s claims of development “drama” and misleading.

The Hyderabad MP also accused both AAP and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of being ideologically aligned, suggesting that there were no real differences between the two. He went further to allege that both parties were created by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), calling the RSS the “mother” of both formations. Owaisi’s remarks pointed to his belief that AAP and BJP’s policies are rooted in similar Hindutva ideologies.

In a separate statement, Owaisi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sending a “chadar” to the Ajmer Dargah during its annual Urs, questioning the sincerity of the gesture given the BJP’s stance on issues related to the Muslim community.

Owaisi also hit out at the Modi government’s approach to China, accusing it of being “scared” and tolerating imbalances in trade, alluding to China’s ongoing activities on disputed borders.

As Delhi prepares for its upcoming elections, Owaisi announced that his party would be contesting the polls, continuing his campaign against both AAP and BJP.
