Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the Rising Rajasthan Summit in Jaipur, highlighted India’s transformative journey under the vision of Reform-Perform-Transform. He emphasized the strides made in economic, digital, and infrastructural development, attributing the success to the government’s focused policies.

India’s Rapid Economic Rise

PM Modi underscored India’s leap from the 10th largest economy in 2014 to the 5th largest today, achieved within just a decade. “This is a result of strategic planning and execution that doubled the country’s exports and infrastructure capacity,” he stated.

He contrasted this progress with the 60 years following independence when development and heritage preservation received limited attention, including in Rajasthan. “Now, the scenario has changed,” he asserted.

Digital Revolution

Speaking on digital advancements, the Prime Minister lauded India’s achievements in internet penetration and digital transactions. “Despite its massive population, India has quadrupled its internet users in the past ten years and become a global leader in digital democratisation,” he said.

Rajasthan’s Development

PM Modi praised Rajasthan’s growth under Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, whose government is nearing its first anniversary. He highlighted the state’s unique growth mantra, ‘Vikaas Bhi aur Virasat Bhi’ (Development Alongside Heritage), and its significant contributions to India’s energy and mineral security.

“Rajasthan holds a large share of India’s mineral reserves, including zinc, copper, and marble, forming the backbone of a self-reliant India,” he noted. Additionally, Rajasthan’s role in renewable energy was lauded, with the state housing many of the country’s largest solar parks, aiding India’s goal of 500 GW renewable capacity by 2030.

A Reliable Investment Destination

Concluding his address, PM Modi described Rajasthan as rising, reliable, and receptive, inviting global investors to explore its opportunities and be part of India’s growth story.

The summit reflected India’s commitment to holistic development, ensuring progress across economic, technological, and environmental domains.
