Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule has shattered records at the global box office, surpassing Rs.1000 crore in just six days. Directed by Sukumar, the action-packed sequel starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, has seen an impressive box office performance since its release.

Opening with a strong Rs.294 crore worldwide, the film quickly escalated its earnings, reaching Rs.449 crore by day two, Rs.621 crore on day three, and Rs.829 crore by day four. By day five, it had already grossed Rs.922 crore, becoming the first Indian film to achieve such a milestone in just five days. On day six, it crossed Rs.1000 crore, setting a new benchmark in the industry.

Pushpa 2: The Rule has surpassed previous records held by big films such as Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which took 10 days to reach Rs.1000 crore, and RRR and KGF: Chapter 2, which achieved the same in 16 days. While Pushpa 2 is already making history, industry watchers are keen to see how it performs in its second week.

As of now, the film has grossed around Rs.645.95 crore in India alone. The success of Pushpa 2 has marked a significant achievement for Allu Arjun, who portrays the fierce red sandalwood smuggler, Pushpa Raj. The film’s gripping storyline continues from the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise, with Pushpa battling police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, played by Fahadh Faasil, in an intense face-off.

However, the film has also sparked controversy. Rajput leader Raj Shekhawat recently threatened the producers of Pushpa 2 over the alleged portrayal of the Kshatriya community in a negative light. He demanded the removal of the term “Shekawat” from the film, claiming it insulted his community. Shekhawat warned of consequences if the demand was not met.

Despite this, the film’s box office success continues to soar, and fans eagerly await how the film will perform in the coming days.
