NEW DELHI: In the lead-up to Aero India 2025, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to preside over an Ambassadors’ Round-Table in New Delhi. This strategic meeting aims to bolster international defence partnerships and highlight India’s advancements in the aerospace sector.

Aero India, recognized as Asia’s premier aerospace exhibition, serves as a pivotal platform for showcasing India’s indigenous defence technologies and fostering global collaborations. The 2025 edition is anticipated to surpass previous iterations in scale and significance, aligning with India’s vision of becoming a global hub for defence manufacturing.

During the Ambassadors’ Round-Table, Minister Singh is expected to emphasize India’s commitment to self-reliance in defence production. He has reiterated India’s ambition to move beyond being an “assembly workshop” and focus on developing and producing cutting-edge military platforms. This aligns with the “Make in India, Make for the World” initiative, which aims to position India as a leading defence manufacturer.
