Mumbai : As Coldplay’s much-anticipated Music of the Spheres World Tour gears up for its 2025 arrival in India, the buzz is reaching fever pitch. Actress Raviraa Bhardwaj, known for her role in the hit web series Aukaat Se Zyaada, has weighed in on the overwhelming frenzy surrounding ticket sales.

Raviraa, who was fortunate enough to attend Coldplay’s first-ever concert in India back in November 2016, shares her mixed feelings about the current rush for tickets. “I completely understand the excitement around Coldplay’s return, but seeing fans scrambling to secure a spot has been both joyful and heartbreaking,” she says. “It’s tough to witness so many die-hard fans struggling to get tickets.”

Interestingly, Raviraa hasn’t made an effort to get tickets for the 2025 tour. “I was lucky enough to attend their 2016 concert in Mumbai, and that was an experience I’ll never forget,” she reminisces, beaming. That night, Coldplay shared the stage with global icons like Shah Rukh Khan, A.R. Rahman, Amitabh Bachchan, and Jay-Z, while a special speech from Prime Minister Narendra Modi added to the event’s grandeur. Coldplay also gave away 25,000 tickets for free, which made the event feel even more special for Raviraa. “There was something so genuine about that experience,” she recalls. “It felt like true Coldplay fans were in the crowd. Nowadays, it feels like people are after tickets more for the trend than for their love of the band.”

As the excitement builds for Coldplay’s next Indian tour, Raviraa looks back fondly on that magical 2016 night, knowing she was part of a once-in-a-lifetime experience. “Nothing will ever compare to that concert,” she says with a smile.
