Mumbai: In an exciting development, acclaimed Kannada actor and director Rishab Shetty has been roped in to portray the legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the upcoming historical epic, The Pride of Bharat. Directed by Sandeep Singh, the film aims to showcase the life and legacy of the 17th-century Maratha ruler known for his visionary leadership and indomitable spirit.
The project was officially unveiled by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who launched the poster in a grand event earlier this year. Sandeep Singh, known for producing films like Mary Kom and Aligarh, is making his directorial debut with this magnum opus.
