Among the recovered items were one MA4 assault rifle, a 12-bore single-barrel gun, a 9mm pistol, a .32 pistol, five hand grenades, and more. They also recovered items such as KCP (PWG) badges, mobile chargers, and sleeping bags, all linked to armed groups.

On Thursday, security forces apprehended four armed miscreants, including a member of the KNF (Kuki National Front), who had been terrorizing villagers in Churachandpur district. The arrested individuals were found with firearms and ammunition, including a Myanmar-made MA-1 Mk I assault rifle.

Additionally, the police carried out a poppy destruction operation in Molham village, Kamjong district, where they destroyed 10 acres of poppy plantations. Two poppy cultivators were arrested in connection with the illegal activity.
