The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is celebrating Sewa Parv 2025 from 17th September to 2nd October as a nationwide festival emphasizing service (Sewa), creativity, and cultural pride, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047. The event calls upon communities, institutions, and individuals to unite in a collective movement of service and artistic expression.

Major Highlights at Arunachal Pradesh

As part of Sewa Parv 2025, the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), in partnership with Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, organized an art exhibition and prize distribution ceremony on 1st October 2025. This event showcased paintings created during a competition held under the theme “Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala ke Sang.”

The occasion was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Prof. S.K. Nayak (Vice Chancellor), Smt. Mamta Riba (Secretary, Department of Art & Culture), Dr. N.T. Rikam (Registrar), and Prof. Uttam Kr. Pegu (Dean, Faculty of Visual and Performing Arts). They praised the creativity of students and the role of art in fostering innovation, cultural pride, and civic responsibility. The exhibition reflected youthful aspirations and cultural vibrancy through fine artworks created by university students.



Nationwide Digital Participation

To maximize engagement, the Ministry has facilitated digital participation through the Sewa Parv portal. Institutions nationwide document and upload their events, while individual citizens can contribute artworks, photographs, and creative expressions online. The public is encouraged to share their participation on social media using the hashtag #SewaParv. Official branding and publicity materials are also available for download to support widespread awareness and participation.

How to Participate: Sewa Parv 2025

  • Individual Participation: Anyone can create and upload artwork on the theme “Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala Ke Sang” in any medium or material.

  • Painting Workshops: There are 75 locations nationwide where painting workshops are conducted. Interested participants can join workshops organized by Ministry of Culture institutions.
