New Delhi, July 25, 2025 — In a spirited display of national pride, environmental awareness, and military valour, the SHAURYA BHARAT CAR RALLY was flagged off today by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh from Air Force Station New Delhi. The rally is organised by the Progress Harmony Development Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) in close coordination with the Indian Air Force, running under the resonant theme: “Rashtra Ka Maan, Shaurya Ke Saath, Paryavaran Ka Vikas.”
800 km Rally Powered by Electric Vehicles Promotes Green Mobility
The rally is being conducted under the aegis of the Directorate of Adventure, covering approximately 800 kilometres from Air Force Station New Delhi to Air Force Station Adampur, via AF Station Ambala, over three days — from July 25 to July 27, 2025.
A fleet of 40 sponsored Tata Electric Vehicles (EVs) forms the backbone of this eco-conscious initiative, with 112 participants representing the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, Indian Coast Guard, DRDO, and NCC. The rally aims to champion the importance of green transportation while simultaneously celebrating the courage and discipline of India’s Armed Forces.
Operation Sindoor Commemorated; Youth Inspired Along the Route
The rally commemorates the successful completion of Operation Sindoor, honouring the indomitable spirit and valour of India’s defence personnel. During the journey, the rally will engage with students at universities and colleges, spreading awareness about career opportunities in the Armed Forces and instilling values of patriotism, discipline, and service.
