Shiv Sena MLA Narendra Bhondekar resigned from all his party posts on Sunday, expressing his disappointment at being excluded from the Maharashtra cabinet expansion. Bhondekar, who was promised a cabinet position by party leader and Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, had hoped to become the guardian minister of Bhandara district. After reviewing the cabinet list and finding his name missing, Bhondekar announced his decision to step down and serve as an ordinary party worker. He had previously supported Shinde as an independent MLA.
