Six Soldiers Injured in Landmine Explosion in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir

The situation remains under investigation, and updates will follow as more information becomes available.

Breaking News

At least six army personnel were injured on Tuesday morning after a landmine exploded in Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir. The incident occurred at 10:45 am near Khamba Fort in the Nowshera sector, when one of the soldiers accidentally stepped on the landmine during a routine patrol.

The soldiers were immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable. Authorities have confirmed that the landmines in the region are part of an anti-infiltration system, positioned in forward areas near the Line of Control (LOC). However, heavy rainfall in the region is believed to have displaced some of these mines, leading to the explosion.

The situation remains under investigation, and updates will follow as more information becomes available.
