“Just like Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan became a household name, I hope Shrimad Bhagavatam Part-1 finds similar love and appreciation,” he said. He recalled how even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the re-telecast of Ramayan set global viewership records a testament to the timeless appeal of epics rooted in Indian culture.
