Breaking News

In a tragic incident on Monday, an ambulance collided with a group of devotees walking to the Tirumala Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh, killing three people and injuring several others. The accident occurred near Narasingapuram in the Chandragiri mandal, as the ambulance, a 108 emergency vehicle, lost control and struck the pilgrims.

The group, believed to be on a pilgrimage from Punganur to Tirumala, was walking toward Sri Venkateswara temple when the mishap occurred. Two women, identified as Pedda Reddamma (40) and Lakshmamma (45), died instantly at the scene. Three other individuals sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Ruia Hospital in Tirupati for medical treatment.

While the exact cause of the crash remains unclear, police suspect that dense fog in the area may have contributed to the accident, reducing visibility for both the ambulance driver and the pedestrians. A case has been registered, and authorities are investigating the incident further.
