Details of the Incident

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sanjay Kumar Verma, the accused, Harshvardhan, is the son of retired Chief Medical Officer Lavkush Chauhan. Background of the Dispute

Jyoti married Rahul in Lucknow in 2019. For the past three years, she had been residing at her parental home in Etawah to care for her father, while Rahul frequently visited. The sudden and violent nature of the crime has left the family and the local community in deep mourning.

The tragic event has sent shockwaves through the Mahera Chungi locality and the broader Etawah district. Residents are grappling with the senselessness of the violence, especially given that it stemmed from a familial property dispute. Community leaders are urging families to seek peaceful resolutions to conflicts and to involve mediation or legal avenues rather than resorting to violence.

This devastating incident underscores the potential for familial disputes to escalate into tragic outcomes. It serves as a somber reminder of the importance of open communication, mediation, and legal intervention in resolving internal conflicts. The community mourns the loss of Jyoti and young Tashu and hopes for justice to be served swiftly.
