WhatsApp has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative, “WhatsApp Bharat Yatra,” aimed at training small businesses nationwide to harness the power of the platform for growth and customer engagement. The initiative will see a mobile bus touring key business hubs, starting in Delhi-NCR, where it will visit bustling markets such as Laxmi Nagar, Rajouri Garden, and Nehru Place. The bus will offer personalized, on-the-ground training sessions to help businesses optimize their use of WhatsApp for business.

The bus tour will expand its reach to other major business areas, including Gurugram, Noida, Agra, Lucknow, Indore, and Ahmedabad, focusing on popular spots like Sapphire Mall in Gurugram and Atta Market in Noida. Through interactive demonstrations, businesses will learn how to set up a WhatsApp Business Profile, create catalogs, and design effective ads to enhance sales and customer relationships.

Ravi Garg, Director of Business Messaging at Meta India, emphasized the crucial role of small businesses in India’s economy, stating, “With the right digital tools, they can drive India’s digital transformation.” The WhatsApp Bharat Yatra is designed to equip businesses with essential digital skills, empowering them to thrive in the modern business landscape.
