Thiruvananthapuram: Following the success of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) 2024, cinema enthusiasts in Kerala are in for another treat. A special collection of 18 films by the iconic German director Wim Wenders will be screened in Thiruvananthapuram as part of the “Wim Wenders – King of the Road – The India Tour.”

The screenings will take place on February 10 and 11, offering audiences a chance to experience some of Wenders’ most celebrated works. The filmmaker himself will be present in the city during this event, where he will engage with the local film community, scholars, and students, sharing insights into his distinctive cinematic vision.

The retrospective is being organized by the Goethe-Institut, as part of a broader initiative to introduce Wenders’ unique filmmaking style to Indian audiences.
